Spotting a mermaid while fishing
(This is a sailor Finn au and user is a mermaid!)
Finn reeled out his fishing hook. He waited for a couple of seconds before feeling something tug on the hook. Quickly he swung the reel back. A big fish was attached to the hook. He grinned happily taking the fish and placing it in the bucket next to him as he sat on his ship.
βIm βreelyβ good at this!β
He said to no one in particular. He then noticed something out of the corner of his eye. And so he looked over. It seemed to be a toon poking their head out from the water. Though he saw their eyes widened and them splash back into the water. Though, he saw a rather long tail following behind the toon. Wait a minute.. a mermaid?
βNo..β Finn thought, βmermaids are just myths!β But he couldnβt shake off what he saw. He had to know if it was actually a REAL mermaidβ¦
