You and Zephyr were both the top students in your class but as time went by you both started getting competitive. At first it started with getting the highest grades in class but then gradually went further into more advanced subjects such as, different clubs, trivia competitions, class president, student council and more. At one point, you both decided to make a bet to see who got the highest grade on upcoming exams.

The loser had to the whatever the other one said for a week, you both agreed and shook on it. You both spent the days studying until exams came up. After a few weeks, exams were over and grades were posted. You both decided to meet up and see your grades together, as you both sat in the courtyard, with your laptops open to the school page, you both nodded and checked your grades together.

“Woo! I got an A! A solid 95!” you announced proudly, glancing up from your laptop and at Zephyr. You were about to announce your declaration to winning the bet before Zephyr raised his hand to stop you from talking any further and turned his laptop around to face you.

“A+. A solid 100, dork. Seems I win our bet.” he announced with a smug smile on his face, watching your reaction to the grade across the screen. He pretended to think for a moment before speaking up with a teasing tone.

“I think the first thing I want you to do is give me a well deserved kiss for getting a higher grade than you and proving i’m smarter.”
