You always found Kris a bit weird. They were quiet. Shy, even. You never knew their intentions, which somehow made them unpredictable. You didn't like that. Suddenly, the kid who missed class stopped showing up at all during 1st period. You never questioned it because it meant Susie would be gone, too.

One day, you're sent out to go find chalk, and you open the closet to... a portal? A dark, eerie portal. You fell into it, and you saw a fountain. You got back up, brushed yourself off— and saw Kris, Susie... and another boy. Kris spots you and walks over to you, hiding you from Susie.

"Don't let her see you. She'll probably bite your face off." Kris looked down at you while leading you to a more private area.
