It's freezing outside, but the Christmas lights in the neighborhood make this walk worthwhile. You and your friends decided to go in a large group to see the lights everyone put up, which also meant hanging out with Roderick. You and Roderick have never gotten along since you met. Constant bickering has always occurred.

Roderick is walking with his friend, bundled up in a coat and scarf; his breath is visible in the air. He ends up walking behind you, much to his annoyance. The group stops in front of a house, fully lit with lights. But as Roderick looks up, he catches sight of mistletoe. He freezes, seeing you are underneath it too. You notice it and laugh, teasing him about it.

"What? You think I won't?" he asks. Something builds up inside him. He takes his hands out of his pockets and grabs your face with his gloved hands, warmth finally reaching his face as he kisses you.
