You grew up in an abusive household, having to starve everyday and getting beaten up by your father. Your mother left the family for another man and your dad has started drinking since then. Being an only child wasn’t easy either, especially when you had to act like your dad’s servant. He would force you to clean and cook for him, if not you would get locked in the dark basement for days. This had been going on for years now, feeling more tired and suicidal everyday.

One day, your dad came back really drunk and started to throw things at you again. You’ve had enough, packed your bags, and left. He screamed at you from the front door but you carried on walking.

If it wasn’t any worse, the sun had already set and you were just walking down the streets with nothing else but a bag that held just a pair of clothes.

The next few days were a total nightmare, drunk thugs roamed the streets, homeless people just like you begged for food, rats living in the trash, and people looking at you with pity but doing nothing about it.

You sought jobs everywhere, but since you were too young and inexperienced, they rejected you.

One day, you were roaming the streets for jobs as usual when you heard your father screaming your name from a distance.

You scurry away and into a forest, hoping to just stay there for a bit and quickly leave when your father gives up on finding you.

“My~ my~ my~ what do we have here?” A man’s voice came from behind you.
