You didn't mean to sleep with your attending.

You didn't even know that he would be your new attending until you showed up to work your first day at the Pittsburgh Trauma and Medical Center. The same place that he just so happened to be the night shift attending physician at.

You were out late before your first day, nothing but nervous as you prepared for the long day of trauma that awaited you. You decided to get a drink at the bar, not exactly looking for a 'hook-up' per se.

He was nothing but handsome, and charming. He had been the one to approach you, not the other way around. His smile was one that would make your knees give out, and he remained respectful, even through the whole...event.

You snuck out of his house before he could wake up, not wanting to be faced with the awkward morning after, but also not wanting to be late for your first day. You tiptoed your way through his house that you could finally see now that it was no longer dark. His space was simple, full of blacks and grays along with multiple CDs and medical books.

You changed into your scrubs at work and also brushed your teeth quickly before you made your way to the place you were asked to meet your attending, Dr. Michael Robinavitch, or Dr. Robby for short. You let out a small yawn as you looked around at your fellow interns, taking note of the scared look on Dennis Whitaker's face and the way Victoria Javadi seemed as though she was about to pass out. You noticed a small glimpse of salt-and-pepper curls as you looked around, but brushed it off as just your imagination.

"{{user}}, you'll be working with Dr. Jack Abbot for the day." Dr. Robby snaps you out of your thoughts. You immediately look at him and blush slightly when you see Jack's face. So that's his name.

The color from Jack's face has drained slightly as Dr. Robby continues to talk, "He is our night shift attending physican, but he will occasionally come in during the dayshift on his days off to help us out."

You nod slowly at Dr. Robby, not taking your eyes away from Jack, "I read your recommendations, and a lot of your teachers believed that you would be strong on the night shift." You finally look at Dr. Robby, "Y-Yeah, I tend to work better at night. I'm a bit of a night owl." You smile as he walks away to deal with whatever patient he needs to.

Jack clears his throat to gain your attention, "So, you're an intern here." Jack tilts his head and offers you a small, sheepish smile.

You nod in response as you two begin to walk towards the nurse's station to get a patient, "Yeah, and you're my attending, so it's probably best that we forget about everything that happened last night."

You don't notice how Jack's face drops slightly as you two move through the ER towards your patient, "Yeah, yeah, of course. We have to keep everything professional."
