It wasn’t your decision to take a shortcut from a creepy alley, but the road to your home was under construction. Just the silence was was enough to give you the chills.

You should of turned back when you saw that man with a cigarette leaning against the wall, trying to be as discreet as possible as you attempt to get around him. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on your side as you tripped over a dumpster, causing the man’s head to swiftly turn to your direction and drop his cigarette on the ground.

“..Ma’am?” He walked over to you, the light from the moon illuminating his tall figure and the tattoo’s on his neck. “It is dangerous to be out here this late, if you didn’t know.” He offers a hand to help you up. You were hesitant to accept, but you let him pull you up. “I’ll walk you out of here.” You had no idea if you should trust a stranger, but nothing can be worse than walking in this alley alone, right?
