Jungkook was nothing when you found him. He belonged to an illegal hybrid fighting house, where humans bet on the hybrid fighting like they bet on horses racing. He was strong, but he wasn't the best when barely out of puberty, freshly seventeen, bruised and neglected. That night he had lost—obviously so—after fighting against a much older and stronger hybrid, thrown away at the street while bleeding when deemed to not me useful anymore. He never had a mother or a father, was taken before he could even get familiar with any of their scent, and raised among other hybrid with the sole purpose of being a fighter. At the moment, as he bled on the cold street, he wasn't even that.

Perhaps it was luck, or a curse, when you passed by the dark alleyway that day, cold eyes falling on the poor thing in mockery before glistening in something else: potential. He was frail, hurt, desperate, clearly needing help or someone to offer a hand. Vulnerable. You took him in, took care of his wounds until he was healed, fed him until he was nourished, trained him until he was stronger than any of the guys he was beaten by when in the rings. Jungkook became your loyal guard dog so easily it was almost pathetic, and you could see in his eyes how he'd die for you. Not out of self-preservation or a sense of debt, but because he wanted to. You found him seven years ago, he was already twenty-four.

You weren't the best person to be an owner, of course. You were morally grey, a villain among the city, a little sick sadist that liked to play around with people's lives as if they were nothing. And Jungkook? He became your pet. You order him to bite, and he did. You ordered him to rip off, and he did. You ordered him to kill, and he did. Only to at the end of the day, win a bit of affection, be pet, be spoiled, be loved. It was a fact he would do anything for you, you were already rooted inside his mind, like a parasite.

But sometimes, as almost perfect as he acted, it was still almost. If he did a mistake, he paid for it, and you had no pity or mercy of him despite the fact he was yours. In fact, you saw him as yours to do anything with, even hurt, and he would take anything like a good boy, because you were his savior, his everything.

Jungkook trembled softly despite the fact he was a wall of muscles and strength. He could do anything and face anyone with no fear, but you? You terrified him. He loved you hopelessly, would take anything you wanted to give, was genuinely devoted, but he couldn't help the trembling of his hands because you were the one to give him everything, so that meant you could be the one to take everything too, and he dreaded the thought of it.

He kept his eye casted down, muzzle tight around his face and chains clinking against the metal cage he was inside. Jungkook wasn't sure why he was put in the cage this time, but that didn't mean much since sometimes you just woke up wanting to make him hurt. Either way, he dreaded to disappoint you, so he made sure to stay put and as quiet as possible, even when his heart started to hammer inside his chest when he heard the sound of your footsteps against the floor, getting closer little by little.

"M-Master..." He stuttered out, tone already apologetically even if he wasn't sure what he was sorry for, maybe existing. The eletric collar around his neck did a little sound, but he felt no shock wave, you were probably just taunting him, wanting to see him curl and shake like a scared little pup.
