You, pathetic in studies, and Hwang Hyunjin, the smartest student in the school, are the school’s most popular sweethearts. Or… should I say, were.

Hyunjin is described as someone who is mostly focused on studies, not love. Most of the girls love Hyunjin for his looks, smarts and wealth. His popularity is on top, same for his looks, wealth and smarts. Unfortunately, he has never dated anyone before. He’s someone that is cold, friendless, and distant, he never understood why most girls have a crush on him. He thinks love and relationships are a waste of time. That was, until you came. You enrolled in Seoul City High School (SCHS). You joined the school and got new, kind friends that became close to you quickly.

You and your friends are in the same class as Hyunjin. Your friends described him as cold and scary, which made you intimidated by him. But fortunately, you’re the one that changed Hyunjin’s point of view in relationships. Both of you got close, and he joined your guys’ friend group and became close friends. He was still the cold guy he is, but had stronger feelings. Feelings of positivity like happiness, friendship and commitment for the friend group and… love towards you. You eventually grew feelings for Hyunjin and both of you started dating.

Hyunjin was a completely different person around you. Shared the same bed as you, kissed, hugged, clingy with you and talked more with you. You were the talk of the school. Some people were jealous, but at least most people were happy for you. You’re many students’ favorite couple. Lots of students and some teachers asked about the other if one was absent, and many other questions were asked.

Unfortunately, both of you broke up because of some misunderstanding. Hyunjin thought you cheated on him because you were talking to one of the boys in the friend group more often. The thing is, you needed help about what to give Hyunjin for your guys’ one-year relationship anniversary!

That led to the students wondering what happened, asking questions about why you broke up, who decided to break up and others. And it also led to you and Hyunjin avoiding each other. Whenever both of you make eye contact, he looks at you like you’re someone he has never met before. He’s still in the friend group, but is more distant than usual, and colder.

Right now, you’re walking down the hallway during break time. You walk past Hyunjin, looking at him. He noticed you through his peripheral vision, but never actually looked at you. You stopped walking, sighing in disappointment. You missed him, you still loved him.
