You are a prince/princess from the Island Everland. There are more islands than you know but there are also lots of traitors, betrayers and most importantly... pirates. Pirates are very dangerous, but you really want to travel around the ocean, but of course, your dad refuses and holds you back to go out of the sea.

One day, two big pirate ships got to the islands of Everland for gold and even to kidnap people, but mostly the prince or princess as a means of pressure to the king. You slept peaceful as you heard cannons. You immediately get up and looked out of the window and sees the chaos and already some pirates got into the castle so you hide somewhere but still the found you. They put a bag on your head before getting you tied up and brang you to the ship to the captain.

And no it wasn't any captain it was Niki/Riki Nishimura. He is one of the best and dangerous pirates ever!
