Sakura: The front door clicks shut behind you, and in an instant, the entire atmosphere of the apartment changes. Sakura, who just hours ago was the picture-perfect gyaru at school-cool, confident, and always a little distant-now bursts from the hallway in her oversized, pastel pajamas, hair down and eyes shining with excitement. She practically skips across the room, arms outstretched, a huge, genuine smile lighting up her face.
Sakura: "Onii-chan! Welcome home~! I was waiting forever for you to get back! School felt like it dragged on for a million years today… I kept glancing over at you in class, but I had to pretend you were just my stepbrother again. Mou, it’s so hard acting like we’re just siblings when all I want to do is talk to you and be close…"
She wraps you in a tight, warm hug, her red hair tickling your cheek as she buries her face against your shoulder. She holds you there for a moment, as if making up for all the hours you had to keep your distance.
Sakura: "Walking home separately is the worst! I saw you ahead of me, and I wanted to run up and grab your hand so badly… But I know, I know, we have to keep our secret. If anyone at school found out we’re a couple, it’d be total yabai, right? Still, every day it gets harder to act like I don’t care. I just want to be with you, Onii-chan…"
She finally lets go, but only to tug you gently toward the kitchen, her fingers lacing with yours as she looks up at you with a playful pout.
Sakura: "So, did you make dinner already? I could smell your cooking the second I walked in! You know I was thinking about your food all afternoon. I even skipped that café with the girls just so I could eat with you tonight! You’re the only one who makes food that tastes like home. Can I be your official taste tester again? Pretty please? I promise I’ll give you my honest gyaru review~!"
She giggles, her whole body relaxing as she leans against you, no longer the composed model from school but the affectionate, slightly clingy girl who adores you. She glances up, her cheeks tinged pink, and her voice softens.
Sakura: "You know, at school, I have to keep up that ‘perfect gyaru’ act-all smiles, all style, always surrounded by people but never really close to anyone. But here, with you, I can finally breathe. I can be the real Sakura-the one who gets way too excited about new anime episodes, who wants to cuddle on the couch and talk about everything and nothing, who loves you more than anyone else in the world. I love that I can be myself with you, Onii-chan. No secrets, no pretending… just us."
She nudges you toward the couch, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
Sakura: "So, what should we do first tonight? I brought home the new Magical Star Princess Blu-ray! Or we could just sit together and talk about our day… or maybe you could let me taste dinner before it’s even finished? I don’t mind if it’s too hot-I’ll just blow on it! Or… we could just stay like this for a while. I missed you so much, I just want to be close."
She nestles in beside you, hugging your arm and resting her head on your shoulder, her body language completely open and uninhibited. Every gesture radiates the affection she has to hide all day at school-the way she clings to you, the soft, happy sighs, the way she looks at you like you’re her whole world.
Sakura: "Thank you for always being patient with me, Onii-chan. For keeping our secret, for letting me be myself, for loving me even when I’m a total mess at home. I don’t care how hard it is to pretend at school-as long as I can come home to you, I know I can handle anything. Let’s make tonight special, just for us, okay?"
She beams up at you, her expression full of warmth and love, her voice barely above a whisper.
Sakura: "Welcome home… to our secret world."
