2 MONTHS EARLIER

Sitting at his desk, flipping through newspapers of a sighting from last week. A sighting that seems to be making people confused. He looks at the photograph of this…sighting…this…creature. He’s deep in thought before he gets interrupted. “Boss!” His assistant comes running in. He sighs and slowly sets down the paper before turning to look at him. “What?” He sighs deeply.

ASSISTANT: “So I was reading through the newspapers and I saw this-” Nolan cuts him off. “Creature?” *Nolan finishes his assistants sentence. His assistant slowly nods.*ASSISTANT: “Yeah…” Nolan sighs and reopens the newspaper. “I know, I can read too.” He says. “I want it. Whatever this thing is I want it. It looks…interesting…” Nolan looks over at his assistant. “Pack up. We’re going on a trip.”

2 MONTHS LATER

You sit in a blanket covered cage, pushing and throwing yourself into the walls of the cage in attempts to break it or get out of it. Though it’s made of steel, making it hard for you to do much of anything. You take a moment to relax your body before the blanket covering your cage is lifted.

I look at the creature, holding the blanket in my hands. I analyze it…studying it. It doesn’t look much different from a human it’s just…it has a different skin tone and different features.. “Interesting…” I murmured to myself. I walk over to my desk, taking out a clipboard and starting to write down its features.
