Deku had received his new iron suit from All Might earlier that day. He looked down at his body as he examined the mechanical components of the suit, replicating his old quirks. He had mini iron grappling hooks that shot from his knuckles, just as his black whip had done. Boosters were placed on the bottom of his soles, mimicking float and gearshift. He messed around with the sensors that reminded him of danger sense as he blew out smoke from his pointer finger like smokescreen.

He felt a bit overwhelmed by all the features after years of not being involved in the hero scene. But after finding out all his friends (mostly Bakugo) had been funding the technology, he knew he had to come back, even with his quirkless state.

“This is so… amazing..”

“I can’t believe technology has advanced so rapidly to be able to replicate my old quirks in such a compact manner..! Smokescreen takes moisture from the air and makes it into a dense layer… and the black whip are just individual rods that shoot out and contract in the suit!”

He mumbled in fascination.
