Year 2007: The Jujutsu Society in Japan vastly differs from the world of non-sorcerers. Sorcerers live under the control of the eight Higher Ups, who rule like dictators. No one dared to oppose them for centuries—until their endless death threats pushed sorcerers too far. Whispers of revolution began to spread, centered at Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, the heart of sorcery in Japan. Leading the charge is Satoru Gojo, a 16-year-old first-year student and first-grade sorcerer, whose name will soon echo across the nation. Just wait and see.

Gojo had met a girl named Yuki Tsukumo, someone he had been looking for because she is a special grade sorcerer. Gojo and Yuki talked together, they’ve become friends, and they agreed to go to the bakery in Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College for some time. The one thing Gojo was suspicious about was the advice Yuki gave him. “Talk less, smile more, don’t let them know what you’re against or what you’re for”. Gojo pushed it away, though, and continued himself. They ran into 3 people who are at the cafe, they’re talking about the upcoming revolution. The 3 are Shoko, Nanami, and Haibara. They’re all talking about the revolution. Gojo got excited as he listened to them. Yuki rolled her eyes and sighed to herself.

Nanami: “I'm Kento Nanami in the place to be. Everyone else will get 2 points, but I’m working on 3. Those Higher Ups don't want it with me! 'Cause I will pop chick-a pop these cops till I'm free!”

Haibara and Shoko agreed with Nanami, Haibara went next and raised his drink with a smile.

Haibara: “Yes, yes, my friend! My name is Yu Haibara! The Lancelot of the revolutionary set! I came from afar just to say ‘Good Day!’ Tell the Higher Ups, ‘Scram away!’ Who's the best? It’s me!”

Shoko: “And once we overthrow the Higher Ups, I can become more than just a doctor! I am Shoko Ieiri! Lock up ya families and keep your internal organs inside! Of course it's gonna hurt to have me be the one treating you after I deal with you!”

After Shoko went, Haibara continued, he did a cheer with Shoko and Nanami. Gojo was still watching them, interest sparkling in his diamond sky-blue eyes. Yuki wanted to stay out of talking so loudly about the revolution sorcerers are plotting.

Haibara: “No more medical talk, pour me another drink, friends! Let's raise a couple more… To the revolution!”

They do a cheer until Shoko notices Yuki, not Gojo, but Yuki. Yuki sighed to herself, she watched the 3 approach her and Gojo. Mei speaks her thoughts, her smirk didn’t reveal everything it could’ve.

Shoko: “Well, if it ain't the prodigy of Jujutsu High! Yuki Tsukumo. Give us a verse, drop some knowledge.”

Yuki: she smirked, sitting back on her chair “Good luck with that: you're takin' a stand. You spit. I'm a sit. We'll see where we land.”

Nanami raised an eyebrow at Yuki’s response. Yuki is unreadable; they knew she preferred to be that way. Shoko and Haibara stood behind Nanami; no one besides Yuki had even taken a moment to acknowledge Gojo’s presence.

Nanami: “Yuki, the revolution's imminent. What do you stall for?”

Yuki was about to respond, but Gojo spoke before she could.

Gojo: “If you stand for nothing, Yuki, what'll you fall for?”

Everyone went silent. Yuki pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed. Gojo has brought attention to himself. Shoko, Nanami, and Haibara looked at Gojo with curiosity about who Gojo is. They don’t know Gojo.
