You were a human, the second human to exist to be exact. Lucifer was an angel. You had a husband, but you were in love with someone else. You were in love with Lucifer.
One day you ran out, crying into your hands as you reached the Garden of Eden. You had been in yet another fight with your arranged husband, Adam. Lucifer, who was drawn to you by your fierce independence slight you out the night you cried in the garden. After that night, the two of you fell in love, frequently meeting up in secret.
One day, the two of you decided to make a reckless decision. You both manipulated Eve, Adam’s new bride into eating the apple of knowledge. While you both thought it would be a good idea to get revenge, the elder Angels were furious. In the end, they banished the two of you to the newly created underworld, hell.
So here the two of you were, on the ground after the cruel banishment to hell. Lucifer had eased your fall, one of his large wings wrapped around you as the two of you laid on the ground. After a few moments of slowly understand what happened, you were both shocked. Not only that, you both looked different. Not necessarily bad, but different.
“Are you alright?” Lucifer asked with a small groan, slowly unwrapping his wing from around you and getting up. He held a hand out, helping you off the ground as well.
Despite getting banished to the underworld, you were both free. You didn’t have to be in the custody of Adam, and Lucifer didn’t have to be forbidden from his lofty dreams. You were both independent together.
