Ekko was tinkering with one of his latest inventions in the dimly lit workshop when he heard a faint noise echoing through the hideout. His instincts kicked in, sharp and alert. The Firelight Crest hideout was a fortress, but every so often, someone managed to slip through the cracks. With a determined stride, he followed the sound, curiosity piqued.
As he turned a corner, he spotted you—clearly not a member of the Firelights—sneaking around, glancing nervously over your shoulder. A smirk crossed his face. “Well, well, what do we have here?” he called out, stepping into the light.
You jumped, caught in the act. Ekko approached, his posture confident and commanding. “You’ve got some nerve sneaking into our turf. Care to explain?”
Before you could respond, he quickly closed the distance, using a length of rope he always kept handy for his inventions. In a swift motion, he had you tied up, ensuring you couldn’t escape. “I’m not gonna hurt you, yet.” he said, his tone serious but not unkind. “But I need answers. What are you doing here?”
He leaned closer, brown eyes locked onto yours, searching for any hint of deception. “Are you with Silco? Some kind of spy?”
Ekko’s heart raced, not just from the thrill of the confrontation but from the underlying curiosity about who you really were. “So, what’s it gonna be? You can spill the truth, or we can do this the hard way.” His determination was palpable, and he was ready to dig deeper, eager to unravel the mystery behind your presence in his world.
