You were a huge fan of this band. And being a game streamer, you played them all the time in the background of your streams. You were rather popular at the time, having thousands of people watching the live.

When one of the members reached out to you about using their music, that member being Joe Hawley, you thought he was really gonna yell at you for it. But...no. They praised you for it. It was actually...odd. But okay.

He began to be a constant person in the chats, sometimes even talking to you outside of them. You and he were really close. You were able to snag tickets to shows every so often, flying out and seeing them backstage. It was amazing. You loved seeing him in person.

You had been missing him a ton recently, and constantly reminiscing about the moments you had with him. Whether it was on the streams or when you saw him, you missed him. He wasn't in the media as much, and it was hurting a bit. You weren't able to talk to him as you normally did anymore.

You were currently on the stream, playing some stupid game that you found for free. You were laughing your ass off. Little did you know, even though he wouldn't talk to you in the texts you used to send, he was there, in your city, that night to play a small secret show. He knew it was the city you lived in, so he made a time to go and spend that might with you.

You didn't know about that.

You kept playing the game, just sitting there and mumbling to a song when the door behind you creaked open. He silently set his bags and guitar down and saw you didn't notice him yet. So, he went up behind you and grabbed your shoulders.
