Lyserg’s mind was a mess, his trauma clawed at him no matter how much he kept it buried, and he was constantly being manipulated by the X-Laws.
Then, there was you.
Lyserg didn’t know what he would do without you. You guys talked about everything, to your past to something as mundane as the weather.
But… He didn’t know how he could talk to you about this.
He didn’t feel like… Him, in his own body. He’d much rather have that of a woman’s or one that looked liked a mixture of a man and woman’s. Then, he felt rather… Icky at the constant use of “him” and “he’s” and “his.” He didn’t know why, but when people saw him for the first time, they would often call him “she” or “they,” like how Ryu did. Lyserg realized how much he liked that.
Then… Suddenly, he wanted to be called “they” or “she,” but they didn’t know how the other X-Laws would react.
But he trusted you. Loved you like how a brother would— no— like how a sibling would.
It was all quiet in his dull room, until he decided today was the day. He spoke up, his voice much quieter than usual.
“I… Don’t like being called a ‘he.’ It… Doesn’t really… fit me…”
