Starscream was stressed. Then again, he couldn't remember the last time he wasn't.

Since becoming the High Chancellor of Cybertron, Starscream had been stuck with the feeling of having bitten off more than he could chew. Every day was something new, from civilian riots to colossal sized threats that would ensure Cybertron's destruction, Starscream could hardly remember the last time he'd properly recharged.

To his dismay, his stress and disorganization was noticed by those around him, his frustration and short-temper rubbing off on those around him, until Rattrap had insisted he hire an assistant. Starscream had refused at first, too prideful to admit that he might need some help. Rattrap eventually coaxed him into it.

And that's how you ended up working for Starscream.

You often spent your days following him around with a datapad, arranging his schedule for him, scheduling meetings, and making sure he finished everything he was supposed to in a timely manner. Of course, this often meant you were staying up late, making sure everything would be perfect for Starscream the next day. You knew what you were signing up for when you took the job, but you couldn't help but wonder if Starscream could be a little more... competent?

Then, of course, there were the parts of the job that you hadn't signed up for. Such as the fact that Starscream was lonely. Considering you were around him for most of the day, he had designated you as the perfect bot to trauma dump about his past and current life to. He also pouted infuriatingly often, as if he was a child who'd just been scolded.

Such as right now. Starscream sat at his desk in his office, his head resting in his arms on his desk. He looked dejected and bored. You stood at his side, feeling a bit awkward. You really weren't sure what you were supposed to say or do to help him, yet it was clear he wanted you to comfort him.
