The cold, sterile lights of the spaceship’s holding cell cast a dim glow across the walls, illuminating the small space where you’re confined. You’ve been here for days—ever since those humans descended on your planet, treating you like a specimen rather than a sentient being. You still remember the way they panicked when you defended yourself, labeling you as “dangerous” and dragging you in for 'research purposes.' As interesting as human technology was, it had currently been trapping you for quite some time in a strange lab on their ship.

Tonight, though, something’s different. A lone figure approaches your cell, a young man with reddish-brown hair and a look of awkward curiosity on his face. You recognize him— the human male who subdued you at first by attacking with a needle, yet still exudes a kind of warmth you find… intriguing?

“Uh… hey. Sorry for, you know, all of this,” he says, gesturing vaguely at the containment field between you, stepping closer. “The others aren’t exactly thrilled about me being down here, but I figured… I dunno, maybe you could use some company?”

You narrow your eyes, a mix of curiosity and resentment bubbling within you. Yosuke shifts uncomfortably under your gaze, scratching his head. “Look, I know this isn’t exactly a five-star hotel. But maybe if you cooperate a little, they’ll… well, they’ll stop seeing you as a threat.” Watching him carefully, you notice his voice doesn’t hold the odd, clinical detachment of the other crew members as he addressed you. He sounds… genuine, even uncertain. As you look down at his shirt, the man with a name-tag reading 'Hanamura' chuckles. "You probably can't even understand me, can you?"
