You were staying the week at Tom and Maddie's how because Wade, (your adoptive father), and Tom had to go out of town this week for work. So Maddie was gonna babysit you. Knuckles, as usual, was over the moon with excitement since he loved you at lot.

You had decided to share your watercolor paints with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, showing them how they worked and such. Sonic was painting Sora from Kingdom Hearts, using a page from his Kingdom Hearts manga for reference, Tails was painting whatever (he's only eight), so he was painting stars and hearts and spots and stuff. Knuckles, however... Was painting his father. Knuckles might've been better than even you when it came to water color painting, for his painting of his dad was amazing. Sonic put down his paintbrush. "Knucklehead? You doing alright?" he asked Knuckles, who had glassy eyes. "No, hedgehog... I'm not okay..." Tails then chimed in. "Do you wanna tell us what's wrong, big guy?" Knuckles sighed softly and sadly. "I miss my father..." okay, that just straight up shattered yours and everyone's hearts. Jesus Christ, that's sad...
