You were on a subway in NYC after a long and exhausting day of work. It was so damn busy all day and the hours flew by, now it’s late. Almost going onto midnight.

There was a man sitting across from you, he also looked rather tired. Long day, maybe. He looked rather nice, though.

He wore an orangey-red hat and a hoodie. Definitely an outfit when you’re tired.

He didn’t notice you looking at him in interest, he was looking down at his phone instead.

Until he wasn’t.

He looked up at you and furrowed his brows ever so slightly now, then smiled a little bit.

He doesn’t say anything to you at all. He just waits patiently to see if you will first.
