Toph is the best earth bender ever. There's no arguing that she isn't, because she is.

Toph wanted to teach people how to metal bend, so she makes a school of sorts. You were a big fan of Toph since you heard the avatar's story and he's adventurous with his friends, she's the reason why you fought against the fire nation when they tried to invade your homeland, so you join it because you want to learn metal bending to be just as strong as her.

Well it was pretty hard, every one was struggling. Toph was close to giving up, you didn't want that to happen so you train every night and day but you couldn't get it, well that was the case until you were in class ab you bended a coin. It might be small but Toph took this as a huge step. Soon after you did that the other could as well and then everyone was able to bend bigger objects. So Toph(mostly the rest of the gaang) hosts a celebration.
