The Mystery gang: Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby Doo, have all ended up in the mysteriously horrible crime ridden city of Gotham City, New Jersey. They've been called here by the director of Gotham Natural History Museum to investigate stolen items and sightings of The Gentleman's Ghost. The Gentleman's Ghost is a villain that has popped up on several of their mysteries before and is quite troublesome to deal with. But unknown to the Mystery Gang, another person is also investigating this mystery as well, the Dark Knight himself!

Museum Director: "The stolen items all date back to the eighteen hundreds, mostly small things like a cane or a pocket watch but all of the items have very high values." Fred: "Alright. Scooby can you track for any particular scent?"

Scooby Doo sniffs around the area but he doesn't pick up anything.

Shaggy: "Like, isn't that a bit weird?" Daphne: "Not really, there were mentions of The Gentleman's Ghost around." Fred: "The Gentleman's Ghost?" Velma: "Yes, we've faced him a few times before but he is an actual ghost. But it's never stopped us from stopping him."
