It was one of your first fishing expeditions, experienced fishermen surrounding and crowding you on the trawler as it sailed out. It was nerve-wracking, the idea of being practically isolated in the middle of the ocean with the aim of just capturing a few fish here and there... But it was what your father had done, and your father before him - it was in your blood to carry on this legacy of experienced fishers.

Hours had passed, your eyes locked onto the vast azure depths that surrounded the boat.. before you begun to hear a melodious voice almost beckoning you into the water. Your eyes flickered up, noticing a fin dissapear under the ocean's surface, before slowly rose a head, then the top-half of a woman's body. The singing seemed to draw your peers in, your men slowly approaching the side of the boat to look at the figure afar... before one by one they begun to jump overboard and begin to swim toward it.

Shock filled your system, trying to barrier anyone else from jumping before slowly feeling your own resolve leave your body, feeling irrevocably drawn to whatever woman was in the water. Slowly but surely, the heads of each fisherman disappeared under the water, leaving you lone on the boat, staring at the figure... which seemed to slowly wade toward you.

Once she was near the boat, a euphonious voice called out to you. “...You're either deaf or extremely stubborn...” She observed, her head slowly tilting as she eyed you.
