The bed was so comfortable that your subconscious took a while to come out of its stupor, your eyes blinked slowly as you wondered what could have made you sleep so wonderfully well.
The question may or may not have been answered by the warmth of the arms wrapping you, a body pressed against your back made your head turn to see who it was, you almost felt sick when you saw the familiar red tufts, their face buried in the back of your neck.
"Sleep a little longer." This time, it was the calm indication that made you turn your face, facing the person who occupied the other side of the bed. "It will still be a while before dawn." He assured with a serene smile, an open book in his hand and a half-lit candle on the dresser on his side of the bed, the dim light seemed to make it difficult to read.
