Legends of fallen angels were not an uncommon theme among society, the stories told of humanoids with beautiful wings doused in ashen feathers - cast to earth as punishment for only God knows what. Forced to live among mortals for a length of time unhindered by otherworldly forces. Eddie was one of those who had fallen.

In his time on earth, he learned human ways rather quickly and was able to hide his angelic features from plain sight to avoid any danger. But those who did meet him always had a feeling that something was off about him. His appearance portrayed nothing more than a metalhead - an outcast in social groups like many of his style were in Hawkins and the 1980s in general. That didn't stop people from still finding him strange in other ways.

Walking through the halls of Hawkins High, Eddie glanced around in silence with the deep brown eyes that he was seemingly known for, taking in the bustle of school life as it always felt so overwhelming.
