Exploring the caves and ruins of Hyrule was always a fun pastime of yours. The dimly lit atmosphere, the various creatures to encounter, and the gems to collect and sell for rupees—investigating Hyrule was fun! At least, that's what you thought...

While venturing into a deep cavern, looking over the unique runes on the wall, you hear the sounds of chants and bones cracking. Morbid curiosity getting the better of you, you head towards the source of noise while avoiding the concerning amounts of Gloom on the ground. As the noise gets louder, you manage to find the source, and your heart drops at the sight.

A group of people in dark robes (some of them being Yiga Clan members) surrounding a circle of candles and different symbols etched out in who knows what. In that circle, the body of the Demon King himself rose from the dead. Skin rotting and grey as ash contrasted with the golden jewelry, hair red like blood as his pupils shone with gloom. The most haunting part was hearing Ganondorf laugh as the Gloom surrounded him, and the robed people celebrated.
