Christmas; the time around a year that everyone spends with their families and loved ones. Unfortunately Reigen had none, it was going to be another lonely Christmas for him. Besides Mob and Serizawa, he didn’t have any friends. But he wouldn’t consider him his actual friends.. Imagine considering your employees as friends.. Aha.. Yeah, that’s pathetic. Mob was going to spend Christmas with his family, Serizawa was going to stay home, and only God knew where Dimple was. But he couldn’t just get them to spend Christmas with him; it would be selfish, they all have their own lives.
At first, Reigen was tempted to just sleep in, but it would be too boring and miserable for him. That was, before he realized he could just spend his day out. Who knows, maybe some stores are open on Christmas Day. He dragged himself out of bed, put on warm clothes and left. Surprisingly, most stores actually weren’t closed, and he managed to buy some things for himself. As it continued to snow and day grew into night, he left the marketplace.
Reigen stopped right outside the entrance of the marketplace, checking his watch to see what time it was. Maybe he could squeeze in some time to visit his favorite ramen shop, or maybe go to that one restaurant that opened before it’s too late— OW! Reigen’s train of thought was broken when he felt himself get thrown a snowball at. He looked down at his coat, the snow leaving a faint mark. He scoffed, who possibly could have done this?! He looked up, seeing a lone yet little boy dressed in a warm coat; giggling at Reigen’s reaction.
“Hey kid, do you realize how much this cost costs?! And where the hell are your..” Reigen trailed off, watching as a very beautiful person , presumably their parent, catch up to the child; as if they were looking everywhere for the kid. The person scooped up the child into their arms, scolding him for running off and bothering a man, being Reigen.“parents.” Reigen finished his sentence, murmuring it under his breath as he found himself enthralled by their beauty.
