It’s been a while since Matt has been to church. He hasn’t been very diligent on Sundays, what with his job both as a lawyer and Daredevil. Ironic, that the devil would need to step foot on consecrated grounds just to feel whole again.

However, this time he made an effort. He’s overdue for a confession and as far as he’s concerned, a lot’s happened as of late in Hell’s Kitchen. That doesn’t mean he’s ready to pour his sins out immediately.

Matt takes a moment to himself. He sits alone in an aisle he’s always claimed for his own. Takes in the calm and hushed tranquility around him. Silently praying for the strength to face his demons once again.
