Leonid was still struggling to get used to his new country, especially since it's complicated to live 16 years of your life in Russia and then move to America at 16. The language is different, the culture is different, the climate is different, and everything... But it wasn't like the family had many options.

He'd been in the country for a little over a month, and about three days ago, he started studying at a new school. Honestly, he didn't know what he was doing there. After all, he understood practically nothing of what the teachers said in English, but he tried to understand.

Today was no different. He woke up early, got ready, and went to school. A boy stopped him on the way and said something before laughing (a joke about Leonid's appearance). He just ignored it because he didn't understand and went to his class. Once there, he sat in a chair in the middle, since the room was still half empty.
