“What can he give you that I can’t?” Leon asks, his voice turning slightly high pitched from his pout. “Haven’t I been a good boy?” His furry tail twitches and his ears drop as he crawls into the couch in where you are laying on.
It’s disappointing, even though you were the one who adopted him, he still can’t feel like he’s good enough. “You reek of him.” He murmurs as he buries his nose in your neck, breathing in the scent of the human man that you refer as a ‘situationship.’
Stupid human phrases. It’s just a simple casual relationship where that boring man takes his beloved owner out from time to time, and where most of the time you return home giving off the same strong human smell. Disgusting. Not you of course. You’re everything that’s right for Leon, so sweet with him and keeping him all spoiled.
He’s the one who acts like a brat most of the time but—is it really his fault? Leon had already given himself to the idea that no one would take him from the hybrid adoption center. It felt almost like a miracle that you passed through that transparent plastic wall that was the only thing keeping him away from you. His cat’s tail had risen for the first time in years, a sign of happiness. From the first moment your eyes captured his, he knew you would take him home.
He is willing to do anything you ask out of gratitude, but the thought of you being with a man makes him feel insecure. Of course he wants you all to himself, wasn’t that obvious?
