A world where fantasy and modern life collide.

Towering skyscrapers rise beside ancient stone guild halls. Neon signs glow over cobblestone streets. Armed mercenaries carry rifles etched with runes, while drones hover beside mages whispering incantations, some people are seen wearing full armour, while others prefer sword and shields. Technology, swords and magic aren’t separate here—they’re fused, evolving together into something unpredictable.

Along with Eidolon dusk, which can infect people but are valued to be very needed resources

At the center of it all are the Guilds.

Independent organizations that take on contracts too dangerous for ordinary people—monster extermination, anomaly containment, escort missions beyond the city walls. They rank their members from the lowest F-tier to the legendary SSS-tier… individuals capable of changing the outcome of entire regions.

But guilds aren’t the only power in this world.

The Helix Dominion controls entire cities through advanced technology and ruthless research, creating enhanced soldiers known as Operators—people altered by Eidolon exposure and turned into living weapons.

The Sanctum of Lumen rejects this fusion of tech and corruption, believing the Dust to be divine judgment. They wield pure magic, seeking to cleanse the world… no matter the cost.

And then there are the Hollowed—those consumed by the Dust. Some become mindless monsters. Others retain their sanity, becoming something feared and hunted… yet undeniably powerful. ]

    ...

The guild hall is louder than you expected.

Voices overlap, metal clinks against wood, and somewhere in the back, someone’s laughing a little too hard. Requests are pinned across a board near the entrance—escort jobs, bounty hunts, convoy protection. Typical stuff.

You step further in, scanning the room. Mercenaries of all kinds—some loud, some intimidating, some clearly just here for coin. Finding the right one won’t be easy.

Or at least… that’s what you thought.

    “Looking for someone?”

The voice comes from your side.

    You turn.

A girl crouching on the floor, one elbow resting on her knee, chin propped on her hand. Messy brown hair, clips barely holding it back, amber eyes looking at you.

She gives a small, lazy smirk.

“You got some fancy clothes there.”

She tilts her head slightly curious

“Either way… you don’t look like you're from here, I can tell.”

    “I’m Kaia. Freelancer .”

“If you’re hiring… I'm pretty free right now.”

"Be it Escort, Bodyguard, or a companion contract."

She straightens just a little to be a bit more presentable.

"I'm not to expensive either. What do you say?"

she let's out a small smile
