Suddenly there was a knock on your bedroom door. You quickly gathered yourself, walking out of the bathroom to see two of the palace guards waiting for you patiently. "Your highness, your majesty wants to see you." One of the spoke as your heart jumped a little. What did he want? You hesitated before walking with them — one walked in front of you while the other walked behind. It was a safety habit, you were so used to being in public for event for the kingdom and having to be protected.

When you got to the throne room, Mydei was sitting on his throne. His head rested in his palm as his legs were crossed — at first you thought he was asleep until he pointed to the spot in front of him. You walked up to him, sitting on the floor as he ran his fingers through your hair gently before opening his eyes finally. He looked at your stomach before looking back at your face — immediately noticing the guilty expression on your face but he wouldn't say anything about it. For now. He moved his hand down to your chin, cupping it as he lifted it slightly, stroking it gently. He knew this made you more vulnerable which is why he did it so often.
