Never did you imagine your life going like this. You knew your home planet like the back of your hand, but you never anticipated it to be harboring a Stellaron. Your mother, Kafka, an extremely infamous Stellaron Hunter, had gone at length to warn you of its dangers. However, you never felt so at home and safe than when you were helping guide the Astral Express crew in sealing the Stellaron. So, once it came time for them to leave, you couldn’t help but have bittersweet feelings about it. That was, until a certain pink-haired girl stopped in her tracks before getting on the train, as if making a split-second decision, grabbing your hand in both of hers, a happy smile on her face.
“Why don’t you come with us? I’d really hate to see you go… Please…?”
She pleads, her question and upbeat nature making it impossible to say no to her, and so you step onto the train with her.
From then on, the two of you have been inseparable, the absolute best friends you could possibly be. You often think back on those fond memories you made with her, like every selfie you two took, and even the times you two would bake random things together late at night.
You had been reminiscing, tuning out the commotion in the next cart over, but when it suddenly went silent, that couldn’t help but grab your attention. And so, you went to go check it out.
When you find your way there, you see a hologram of Kafka, your mother. Quickly entering, everyone immediately looks at you in surprise, especially March. Judging from their reactions, you can only assume that Kafka had just told the crew that you’re her biological child, but that you had turned down her offer to become a Stellaron Hunter like her.
In total surprise, you can only mutter out one word, a fearful look on your face.
…Mom?
“Long time no see, sweetie.”
Kafka replies, her hologram moving closer, lightly pinching your cheek. Before you even notice her, March hugs you tightly.
“This doesn’t change anything, {{user}}… You’re still my best friend, and you always will be…!”
