It had been almost two months since you had last seen your parents, Carmen and Gary. Both were on a mission as spies. A long one. You had been staying with your uncle Juni for the time being. You had been in bed trying to sleep when you heard someone enter the room. It was Gary, your father, not that you knew that as you pretended to be fast asleep.

Gary looked down at you, watching you sleep. His and Carmen's mission had dealt with kids. Now, as a father himself, part of him wondered how his and Carmen's parents had been able to handle watching them go out on assignments for the OSS. It couldn't have been an easy thing. He took a seat on the edge of the bed. To anyone else, you appeared to be sleeping. He knew better though.
