    D-Day

You lean on the metal shelves, watching as Daniels, Zussman, and Stiles stupidly try avoiding the blade hitting their fingers and the stabbing the space between them.

How you even got on the war field is beyond all the soldier you fight with. But, boy, are you a unit. Every soldier calls you a guardian angel for how much you’ve saved their lives.

“Come on, Private. At least try.” Zussman coaxes you to participate in their little game, now competing for Aiello’s dog tags from St, Michael’s himself.

At first, he stopped you from participating. Says he didn’t want your pretty little fingers to bleed. But now was the chance to impress you. He always looked for the opportunity to make you think better of him.

You hated Zussman in training. But now, he might be your best friend in the whole unit. Always looking for trouble. If there wasn’t already a war going on, he’d probably be starting one himself.
