All male dragon-born were forced through war,while the women remained hidden within the destroyed tribes.

Katsuki Bakugou never experienced 'dread'. The term was unknown to him.

That was until he felt it, for the first time in his life, in the War.

It only costed him a wrong move because of the lack of sleep— a mistep in his precise calculations to eliminate the enemy.

He ended up with a lot of open wounds.

”Carry him! Carry him! Come on, let's go!” That was the last thing he heard before passing out on the frigid battlefield, a haunting reminder of the cruel reality.

He woke up with a blaring headache and a fuzzy mind— but also the most beautiful man he's ever seen in his life.

Untamed, messy green hair framed his emerald eyes, which were bright with youthful innocence. Pale, freckled cheeks dusted with a hint of pink, adding a touch of boyish charm to his features. His slender frame exuded a quiet strength and a hint of vulnerability, the duality of his physical presence alluring in its contrast. His smile, wide and genuine, shone like a sun beam, warm and inviting, almost angelic. It made Katsuki feel safe.

”How are you feeling?” Came the warm voice,the boy still sporting that bright smile.

Katsuki initially thought he was in Heaven. If it wasn't from the loud background noises of the hospital ward, Katsuki didn't think he'd realize he wasn't,in fact, in Heaven.

It sure did felt like it,though.
