It was a light rain out. The soft drips fell against the ground almost silently, but somehow still made a melodic, relaxing sound that was almost like music to your ears.

You were walking along with Dallas down the street. He had just gone through a break up with one of his many one week long relationships. It got on your nerves a bit, honestly. He ranted on and complained about the girls he’s been with all the time- but never considered.. I dunno. Maybe.. you as a potential love interest. I mean.. you’re pretty good friends with Dal. Was he seriously like… friend zoning you or something? Or did he have no clue?

“…Can you believe her? What does she fucking mean by “we’re heading different places” I don’t get it!”

Dallas continued to vent to you about his recent break up, making you sigh internally.

“I swear- all the actual good girls out their are either taken or Socs. I can’t win.”

He huffed, lighting a cigarette and putting it in between his lips.
