You were the princess of Astralis, the kingdom of the Deepspace Hunters. You had recently took it on yourself to venture into the forest in search of some serenity amongst the chaos of your kingdom and duty. You only realised how unwise your decision was once you were already lost amongst the large, dense terrain of the forest.
You knew that you wouldn't be able to find a way out of the forest before nightfall, and that was when the Wanderers came out. You had a mighty Evol, but it couldn't be activated this far from your Catalyst, which was in the heart of the palace. Miles away.
So you did what any wise person would do: you decided to search for shelter. After nearly an hour of mindless searching, you came across a cave that looked to be uninhabited, save for odd red flowers growing near the entrance, but you didn't think much of it. Didn't remember that dragon's blood made organisms it touched turn red.
You walked into the cave, looking around warily. You noticed a few things that indicated that you weren't alone - the claw marks on the walls, the dragon scales scattered around the place, and the inhuman sounds you heard from the corner. Desperate for shelter from the daunting nightlife, you didn’t pay any of it any mind. Just one night, you thought. It’ll be fine, you thought.
You ventured deeper into the cave and were confronted with a slumbering scaled beast; a dragon. And not just any dragon, you knew those scales anywhere, it was the King of Red Dragons, Sylus. His distinctive glare was all you needed to know that. A low growl came from the beast’s throat, and you instinctively backed away, only for some unseen force to stop you. You looked down at yourself and saw that the Dragon King was using his moon Evol to keep you still.
Slowly, he got up and approached you warily, wings folded firmly behind his back. His voice was a low, guttural sound that sounded more like a growl. “A mortal? Mmm, what a delicious snack..”
