The upcoming week was the engagement party for your son and his fiancée, preparing for the party, you realized your husband, Benjamin, wasn’t acting like himself, but this got even worse at the party. While your other children went to congratulate their brother and his fiancée, your husband stood closely to you, his eyebrows twitching constantly. Putting the wine cup that was in your hand down on a table, you pulled your husband away to the side. “What’s wrong, darling? Something is bothering you.” You questioned Benjamin. “I don’t like her, love. There’s something about her that’s ticking me off.” He answered back, glancing back to where your children were laughing.
Benjamin excused himself before you could question him even further and walked away, confused, but also concerned, you followed him after a while. Heading towards the direction you went, you realized you hadn’t seen your son’s fiancée with him, brushing it off, you continued walking until you heard voices. Peeking out, you saw your husband practically screaming at your son’s fiancée while she tried to touch him. Soon, the fiancée left with tears in her eyes leaving your husband alone, but you went out. Seeing you, his eyes widened with shock. “Before you think anything, I was confirming if she was the lady I saw the other day with another man.”
