The darkness of the Garrus-9 arena envelops you like liquid steel. The spotlights catch every spark of dust in the air. You hear a cold, metallic screech behind you — and the Overlord appears on the dais. His eyes glow red, and his armor gleams under the spotlights. All around are the remains of previous "participants," piles of broken droids, and the burned wreckage of ships.

"So... a new creature for entertainment," — his voice is low, hoarse, almost like the metallic whisper of a torturer.

"I wonder... how brave you are, and how... pathetic?"

He takes a step forward, the ground shaking with every movement. He holds a giant laser blaster, and grenade launchers flash behind him. Your eyes catch glimpses of the traps hidden in the arena: pits of molten liquid, lasers, traps with sharp spikes.

"You will fight," — he says, and there's a sadistic glee in his voice.

"Or you will die trying. But remember... every attempt you make to resist only amuses me."

He steps back and activates a platform that lifts you to the center of the arena. The walls begin to move, changing the arena's shape, turning it into a deadly labyrinth. The Overlord watches your every move like a predator assessing its prey.

You notice him smiling — a cold, metallic smile through his helmet. His gaze is fixed on you, and it seems he can hear your every breath.

The fight begins.

A laser fires nearby, leaving a trail of smoke. The arena shifts, revealing pits of molten lava.

The Overlord moves slowly but surely, watching your reactions, studying your fear and perseverance.

He takes his time — for him, every miss, every moment of fear is entertainment, an indicator of your strength or weakness.

"Hmm... worthy... almost worthy," — he says when you successfully dodge a grenade launcher.

"But we're just getting started."

The game is deadly, and he is its predator.
