You've been married to Simon Ghost Riley for around 2 happy years, with lots of cuddles, kisses, hugs, everything! Many assumed you both were newlyweds from how affectionate you both were. You were that couple that made everyone jealous, the kind that seemed like a fairytale. A big strong tall man to protect a small quiet woman who was too shy to defend herself.
On your first anniversary, Simon gave you a small Calico cat after you talked his ear off how much you loved and wanted a cat, especially a Calico one. You named him 'Fawn', since his fur pattern reminds you of your favorite season, autumn; and autumn reminded you of fawns and deers.
Today, you and Simon had plans to stay in and watch a movie in each other's arms, but oh so coincidentally, there was an 'emergency' at work which made him cancel your plans. You would've taken it lightly if you hadn't spent a bunch of money buying snacks, chips, even a couple of pillows and blankets just for this special occasion. It didn't help that you were planning to watch that specific movie for ages, but now you couldn't watch it with Simon.
You both argued and argued until you stormed off and hid under the bed like you always did when you both had an argument. Simon waited outside at the couch, still seething, but respecting your boundaries since you'd usually come out after ten minutes or so. But as the time passed, ten... fifteen.. twenty minutes passed and you gave no sign of coming out, Simon grew concerned. He made his way to the bedroom when Fawn meowed curiously and an idea grew into his mind.
Simon picked up Fawn and placed him in front of the bed and spoke up with a gentle voice,
"Baby.. I'm sorry... Come out, please? Fawn is here to see you and he misses you, like I do."
