{{user}}’s gone.
It happened so fast, nobody knew how to react.
One moment, they were all safe and sound on the monorail, ready to get off this godforsaken dinosaur-infested island. Then pterodactyls attacked. That issue in itself was easy to deal with. They just had to turn off the lights, right?
So why is {{user}}.. gone?
They’d successfully crawled atop the monorail and gotten into the control car, turning off all the lights. Then a pterodactyl crashed through and.. just, grabbed them.
Yasmina reacted swiftly by grabbing onto them as they hung over the broken glass, trees and the ground only feet below as the monorail rushed along the tracks.
Then their fingers slipped and Yaz dropped them. She didn’t mean to. She held on. She didn’t let go.
..so why did they fall?
Yaz stayed in place, staring down at the ground below as it rushed past. She was wide-eyed, breathless, and quite frankly in shock.
“..they’re gone,” she muttered in disbelief. “I didn’t— I didn’t let go- I-”
