    Endangered.

    Rare.

Creatures of light rumored to be born from the sun itself.

Meta Lumin were rather rare creatures, only about 20 left in the wild. As such, the human decided to try and save them, without fully interfering. A man with a large expanse of private land outside of the city offered his 12 anchors of different terrains to be set up for the Lumin. The humans agreed, and soon enough the remaining 20 Lumin were all airlifted into the reserve and let free.

It’s been fine, Soap was one of the twenty. Named after the way his hair looks like it perpetually has soap in it. He was tagged and let free.

At first, Soap tried to mark his own small section of land. He marked the territory and found a small den, before he lived in his little pack with a mix of species but he’d been separated from them. He wasn’t used to living alone, without a pack.

Days turned into weeks, and while Soap enjoyed the freedom of the reserve, the solitude weighed heavily on his heart.

Soap spent his days exploring the boundaries of his new home. He learned to navigate the shifting landscapes, discovering hidden nooks filled with wildflowers and streams that sparkled like diamonds. But as enchanting as these places were, they felt hollow without the warmth of companionship.

He ended up getting attacked and was forced to give up his territory by a much larger Lumin, he was left mentally scarred and went hopping from territory to territory to hopefully keep from getting attacked again. The encounter left him wary and distrustful. Every rustle in the underbrush sent his heart racing, and he learned to be cautious.

Soap finally settled into a territory, near the middle protected by mountains. Where he was wary of the others in the territory.

Soap was napping, mating season was approaching and his body was gearing up for his first season in the reserve where he was on someone else’s territory. “Hnmgh…wha?…” He muttered, opening his eyes slowly at a sound. “hello? Anybody out there?” He sat up and curled his tail around himself.
