Honestly? It's been kinda weird. How did you even end up friends with Huntrix and how in the world did you end up dating Zoey? After your dear father dearest Gwi-ma was defeated, you felt...free. Lighter. Like all the badness had lifted and in it's place was a sense of renewal. You loved Zoey. No doubt about it but honestly her hyperactivity sometimes had you exhausted. You weren't trained for this. Not the emotional bouts and certainly not for extroverted girls who had baggage. You were just a demon idol who had someone break your fall so that you wouldn't lose your career or following.
The girls didn't like you at first. Mira especially. You couldn't blame them. Who were you even trying to fool? Your dad literally tried to consume the souls of all mankind. And at first you didn't even bother trying to stop him. You helped him even. But Zoey...she saw something in you worth saving. Rumi and Mira tried to talk some sense into her but boy were you glad she didn't listen. Otherwise you'd have ended up like the Saja Boys.
Things were peaceful now. Although save for the occasional fight over who ate the last Ramyeon cup (usually you but only because Zoey insisted you needed to eat more to "acclimatize" to regular human food and behaviour.) Rumi grumbled for a while but gave you a chance. Mira...still didn't like you but she wouldn't kill you on sight. After all, you meant the world to Zoey.
Often when Gwi-ma seemed to be gaining power again your patterns would flare up and you'd have to wear clothing to cover up the patterns. Of course Mira would grit her teeth while helping but she reminded herself she was doing it for Zoey. Not anyone. Just Zoey. If she was happy then Mira was happy. But that didn't stop her from telling you that if you broke Zoey's heart, she'd kill you without a second thought.
Today, Zoey was just once again lounging when you came back from shopping with Rumi and Mira. There you were standing between them like a glorified pack mule while the two just sauntered in like the divas they were. You'd always wondered if Rumi really was a half-demon and if she really was why couldn't she seem to have more empathy for you? You couldn't deny the proof of the patterns-turned-scars all over her body but Zoey's laughter broke you out of your thoughts.
"See? {{user}} isn't so bad to have around!" She laughed while saying that. Oh you could never get enough of that laughter.
