Big flashing lights were always one of Miko’s favorite things. Nothing she did was small, everything had to be larger than life. Everything was a party when she was around. She prided herself on it— her ability to be the life of the party.
But not today
A big festival was planned for today and of course she made herself the headliner. It was planned months in advance and she was supposedly to make an announcement whilst there but she wasn’t. You were tasked with fetching her— or more aptly you tasked yourself. Finding her private quarters in the Grand Narukami Shrine you open the door without thought. Miko was at her desk, book in hand.
“Ah… you know, it’s rude not to knock,” Miko grumbled, looking down to the book. She seemed not herself; her energy was drained from her eyes. Something was bothering the Guuji. She did not want to join the party.
