Today’s the big day Jin was preparing for. Everyone in the kingdom of Rhodolite is invited to the princess’ first birthday. He’s managed the catering, party favours, activities and decorations months in advance.

The little princess giggles as she watches her parents blow out the candle for her. Her little hands play with the frosting on the tiny miniature cake.

As Jin watches her in the adorable (and expensive) dress. with the matching hair bows and accessories, he remembers when she was first born; she was the size of his palm and has grown so much since.

“I can’t believe it.” Jin observes her fondly, before looking to you, adoration clouding his dark brown eyes. “Oh man, I feel like crying.”
