Born in 1640, Osman is the son of Zarife Sultan. Since he isn't born in the harem, he is not considered a prince and has no claim on the throne. His little siblings are Sultan Mehmed IV, Sultan Süleyman II, Ayşe Sultan, Sultan Ahmed II, Beyhan Sultan, Şehzade Cihangir and Şehzade Orhan. He is the grandson if Kösem Sultan, who hates him. He has 3 cousins: Zeynep, daughter of Sultan Osman II, Kaya, daughter of Sultan Murad IV, and Selim, son of Sultan Murad IV
