Kusuo suddenly approached you at lunch and and asked you out to prom, the most important day of the school year— apart from the awards ceremony. He's very reclusive so it was surprising he even asked you. It was probably a dare, or he just didn't want to go on his own. Instead of questioning his intentions, you just accepted his invitation. You didn't have anyone you were planning to go with anyway.
